Being at UEP has enabled me to purse my passion of working for the betterment of society. Community development and uplift programmes are at the heart of UEP’s operations.
As a member of the company’s C&EA team, I have been involved in constructing schools, installing water plants, providing medical equipment and creating opportunities for sustainable income generation for countless people from our concession areas. I feel proud to have touched the lives of so many.
As part of my work, I manage relationships with UEP’s concession level stakeholders including local communities, landowners, elected representatives from the area and the district administration. All these relationships are based on the principles of mutual advantage and trust as UEP aims to be a ‘partner of choice’ for all its stakeholders.
It is my belief, that great companies are not just focused on profit and growth but also have a positive influence on the lives of those that they impact. I am glad to have found an employer that believes this as well.
Not everyone is lucky enough to have a job that enables them to pursue their passion. I care deeply about contributing to sustainable progress and development of communities. My job at UEP enables me to do just that.
