Our Landowners

UEP enjoys relationships based on mutual trust and goodwill with its landowners. The company chooses to lease land rather than exercising the legal right of acquiring land with sub-surface resources. This provides constant income generation to landowners, helps the economy of the area and ensures that landowners retain their ownership rights.

Besides the lease amount we also pay competitive rates for compensation of standing crops, trees, dwellings etc. UEP’s crop compensation rates are one of the highest in the province and are determined using market indicators as well as landowner input.
